Target credit cards w & w/o VISA?

Target has two types of credit cards: 1. Target® Visa® Credit Card 2. Target Credit Card Would they both build my credit the same? I’m thinking of getting one to help build my credit (since I have none), and i figured this would be good since I don’t buy much from target ever. I’m just worried if the VISA is not approved, will the other Target Credit Card that only works in target stores still help me build/teardown my credit? why would you apply for both — go for the one with the logo and hope for the best!!! both cards report to the credit report companies the same way!!!! I’ve had some tough times and made stupid choices when I was younger, now I’m paying for it with really bad credit. I was close to having my house being forclosed, but I was able to fix that. Unfortunately, It’s not completely over and is still on my credit report. I’ve tried orchard bank, and first premier bank and some others.
