Can you buy Prepaid Credit Cards from pharmacies such as duane reade and rite aid. Do they have mastercard or visa prepaid credit cards? why would you want a prepaid card? the general concensus is that they’re a financial health hazard; they cost you money you spend money. They’re not credit, they’re not free, you’re literally just charging yourself to spend. Stick to cash or get a proper bank account with a free debit card… plenty of banks offer free checking accounts nowdays; Wachovia and Chase but to name a few.
